MACHINED MAKROLON, UNDER 50 GRAMMES
A decade of working with Makrolon® was required to perfect the MK44. Like Formula 1 engineers designing a car to the nearest millimetre, B.R.M Chronographes has machined each component of this sports timepiece to the nearest hundredth of a gramme, weighing them one by one on a precision micrometer scale. The Makrolon® case of this automatic watch is lightened in all its parts; this material from motor racing was chosen for its strength and lightness.

The sixteen MK-44 weigh 47 grammes, 48 for the Polie Cadran Blanc bleu ciel. 44 mm case: eight in Makrolon, eight in polished Makrolon; lugs, crown and pin buckle in lightweight titanium, grade 1 titanium screws. Skeletonised dial for all, fourteen black at 10,430 € and two white at 10,950 €. Same chronograph for the series, Valjoux 7753 calibre skeletonised by B.R.M, 27 jewels, 30-minute and 12-hour counter, 46-hour power reserve, without date window. Watch machined and assembled by hand in Magny-en-Vexin, sapphire crystal top and bottom, 100 metres water resistance, three-year guarantee in addition to the statutory guarantee of conformity.
