Racing, Art Car, Boat Master, Aéro, Golf. These are aesthetic families, born of what has inspired the house since 1986. The round case machined from solid, the casing ring mounted on shock absorbers and the sapphire crystal above and below remain constant from one world to another. Everything else is determined by the terrain.

Where it comes from Motor racing is the maison's founding universe. B.R.M designs its watches as one designs a mechanical component: the vocabulary of the engine, brake disc and fasteners is adopted as such, then machined in Magny-en-Vexin.
What it brings to the watch The dial is read like a dashboard instrument: solid, or entirely skeletonised to reveal the calibre at work. Carbon, titanium and black PVD-treated stainless steel predominate. This is the broadest family in the catalogue, from 25 to 48 mm, with 44 mm taking the lead.

Where it comes from Art cars: racing cars entrusted to artists, and the pop art that made them famous. The house has drawn from this a collection that embraces colour rather than merely measuring it out.
How it transforms the watch The dial becomes a painted surface. Lacquer is also applied to the flange, dot by dot and in no deliberate order; the exposed springs, stitching and perforations of the strap vary in hue from one piece to another. Each model is produced in a limited series, from 32 mm to 50 mm.

Where it comes from The sea, and Provence. The dial bears the names of the four winds that blow there: Tramontane to the north, Levant to the east, Marin to the south, Ponant to the west. A marine watch, legible in sunlight as in sea spray.
How it transforms the watch A sunburst blue dial, radiating from the centre: the blue gains depth and shifts with the light. Only two diameters, 34 and 44 mm, in polished stainless steel or black, brown or blue PVD treatment. 100 metres water resistance across the entire collection.

Where it comes from Aircraft instrument panels. Black instruments, graduated, drawn to be read at a glance: this is the model followed by this family, the most recent and the shortest of the five.
How it transforms the watch Three automatic watches, all monochrome black, in 34 and 44 mm. The dial is solid and the graduation forms the essential design, with no colour to distract the eye: Aero-2 Elevation, Aero-6 Tailplane, Aero-8 ChronoHorizon.

Where it comes from The course. A swing delivers a sharp shock to the wrist, repeated from one hole to the next: this is the constraint that this family addresses before any consideration of style.
What it changes in the watch The balance is mounted in full-floating — a self-regulating mass and six shock absorbers that absorb impact. The Shock Absorbers system equips all 81 references. Two sizes, GF6 in 44 mm and GF7 in 38 mm, in polished stainless steel, black PVD or carbon, full or skeletonised dial.
