B.R.M Chronographes revs up thanks to Dario Marchetti

Dario was born and raised in Castel San Pietro in the province of Bologna, Italy. A motorcycle enthusiast, he made it his profession and realised his dream by becoming a professional rider. He has taken part in numerous championships and has had the opportunity to compete in world cup rounds in several categories: Superbike, 500cc, Endurance. He has won national championships on multiple occasions, as well as prestigious races such as the Battle of Twins and the Race of Champions at Daytona with Ducati.

An impressive track record for this Italian sportsman who has since retired as a professional rider but continues to live out his passion as Technical Director of Ducati Riding Experience (DRE), the official riding academy of the Bologna marque. Dario is also a Brand Ambassador for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer and takes part in numerous events and track days around the world. Dario is also a consultant for Eurosport France for Superbike competition.

Dario, what emotions does this partnership with B.R.M Chronographes stir in you?

I have always been a fan of B.R.M Chronographes watches because they are watches that possess a resolutely sporting soul. Anyone who loves motorsport will love B.R.M Chronographes watches. The technique behind an automatic watch is similar to what we know in motorcycling or motoring. The design that B.R.M Chronographes offers conveys the same spirit that I find in top-level motorcycle racing. I am very happy to join the B.R.M Chronographes family, and I am proud to be an ambassador for this beautiful French brand.

Bernard, you who are passionate about motorcycles, why did you choose Dario Marchetti as ambassador?

I have been riding motorcycles for over 50 years now. I have always had a weakness for Italian machines, and for Ducati in particular. I have owned 5 of them, with which I have very fond memories! Dario has always thrilled me when he raced, through his riding style and his many fierce battles. I am delighted to welcome him to the family.
