Configuring your B.R.M watch from your AI assistant

B.R.M Chronographes is an independent French watch manufacture, based in Magny-en-Vexin since 1986. Every B.R.M watch is made to order, and many are composed by their future owner in our configurator. Since autumn 2026, our connector gives your AI assistant the same configurator as the one on our website: the same models, the same options, the same rules and the same prices. You describe the watch you wish to wear; the assistant composes it with our real components.

What your assistant can do with B.R.M

Browse the collection: the configurable models — V6-44, V6-44-SA, V7-38, V8-44, V12-44, V12-46-SA, DDF6-46 and DDF12-46 — with their starting prices.

Explore a model: case, dial, tachymeter, crown, hands, strap, buckle… every component, its options, their supplements and their incompatibilities.

Check a creation: when one option requires another, the assistant knows and suggests a correction rather than composing an impossible watch.

Give the price for your country: in the billing currency of the delivery country, with French VAT within the European Union, or 0% VAT outside the European Union (customs duties payable by the buyer). Delivery is included.

Show the watch: a photographic rendering of your exact configuration, from 30 angles.

Keep the creation: a link that reopens your watch, option by option, in the configurator on brm-chronographes.com.

Preparing the order: at your request, the assistant prepares the order for the watch you have configured; B.R.M sends you a summary email, and nothing is ordered until you have confirmed it.

Writing to us: with your consent, the assistant forwards to our team a request for a visit to the manufacture, a quotation or a creation beyond the configurator.

Step 1 — Add the B.R.M connector to your assistant

The connector is free and requires no account and no key. Its address is https://api.brm-chronographes.com/mcp: it is an MCP server (Model Context Protocol, Streamable HTTP transport), without authentication.

Claude: search for ‘B.R.M Chronographes’ in the connector directory, or add it yourself: Customise → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the address.

ChatGPT: search for ‘B.R.M Chronographes’ in the directory, by name. Developers can also add the server address in developer mode.

Le Chat (Mistral): Connectors → Add connector → Custom MCP connector, then paste the address.

Google Gemini: in Gemini CLI, declare the address (httpUrl field) in settings.json; in the Gemini app, if your account allows custom apps to be added, paste the same address there.

Microsoft Copilot: in Copilot Studio, add a ‘Model Context Protocol’ tool to your agent, paste the address and select ‘None’ as the authentication.

Perplexity: if your subscription offers custom connectors, Settings → Connectors → Custom connector, remote type, then paste the address.

Any other MCP client: add the address with the Streamable HTTP transport.

Step 2 — Ask, in everyday language

Mention ‘B.R.M’ in your message so that the assistant calls on the connector, then speak as you would to an adviser:

‘Show me the B.R.M watches I can configure and their starting prices.’

‘Compose a B.R.M V6-44 for me with a black case and a red tachymeter, and show me an image.’

‘How much would this watch cost delivered to the United States?’

‘Give me a link to open this exact watch on the B.R.M website.’

To prepare this article, we asked for a V6-44 with a black PVD steel case, red tachymeter, red seconds hand and perforated red Alcantara strap, with a red automatic winding bridge and a black PVD steel buckle. The connector replied that the painted automatic winding bridge is only available with the skeleton dial, and that this buckle only accompanies the rubber strap. With these two options removed, it gave the price of the day — €5,420 including VAT delivered in France, $6,050 delivered to the United States, with 0% VAT and customs duties payable by the buyer — followed by the rendering below.

Step 3 — Ordering: from the assistant or on the website

Ask the assistant to prepare the order: with your consent, it passes your name, email address and delivery address to B.R.M, after which B.R.M sends you a summary email. You confirm the order via the link it contains, choose your method of payment — bank card, payment in instalments, deposit or bank transfer, depending on the amount and the delivery country — then pay yourself on B.R.M's secure payment page. The assistant never pays and never commits you to anything: nothing is ordered until you have confirmed.

Would you rather make further adjustments? The assistant also gives you a link that reopens your watch in the B.R.M configurator, where you can change a colour, view it from every angle and order it on the website. Prices given in a conversation are indicative: the amount displayed on B.R.M's payment page is authoritative.

Each watch is then made to order in Magny-en-Vexin, within 6 to 8 weeks.

Your data

The connector has no access to your conversation: it receives only what the assistant passes to its tools — a model, options, a country. It sets no cookies and requires no account. We keep an anonymous usage log, with a fingerprint of the IP address that changes every day, never the address itself. Your contact details reach us only if you ask the assistant to forward a request to our team and agree to be contacted.
