B.R.M Chronographes and Ligier Automotive, two French icons join forces once again to offer a collection of watches dedicated to motorsport enthusiasts. This partnership combines B.R.M Chronographes' expertise in mechanical watchmaking with the competitive world of Ligier Automotive, for a series of watches that reflect their commitment to performance, design, and French excellence.

The alliance of two exceptional savoir-faire

Since their inception, B.R.M Chronographes and Ligier Automotive have shared the same quest for performance and innovation. Each B.R.M Chronographes watch is designed with respect for the traditions of precision watchmaking. The components are machined in the brand's workshops in France, where every detail is conceived and crafted with a concern for technical perfection and sporting aesthetics.

Ligier Automotive, with several decades of experience in international motor racing competitions, distinguishes itself through its constant pursuit of aerodynamism, robustness and on-circuit performance. Its vehicles are the product of French expertise recognised worldwide, notably thanks to the successes of its sport prototypes. It is the only manufacturer, since Ferrari in 1998, to have won in the same year the three legendary American races — the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans — with its first generation of LMP2, the Ligier JS P2. The French manufacturer's LMP3s have also distinguished themselves in European and international championships since their launch in competition in 2016, with 250 models sold, first and second generation combined, across the world and no fewer than 44 titles won by the Ligier JS P3 and Ligier JS P320. Presented at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024, the third generation of LMP3 Ligier, the Ligier JS P325, is preparing to take over from 2025.

With this collaboration, B.R.M Chronographes and Ligier Automotive pool their expertise to offer a collection of watches that celebrates each car model, from single-seater training cars to endurance prototypes, including GT models.

True to the values of personalisation and bespoke craftsmanship that drive it, the B.R.M Chronographes brand offers purchasers the unique opportunity to personalise their watch with an exclusive engraving of their vehicle model on the chapter ring. It will also be possible to
engrave the chassis number on the case back, a subtle detail that will appeal to the most fervent motorsport enthusiasts. Each watch thus becomes an extension of the driving experience, allowing drivers to share their love of motoring in a unique way.

The B.R.M Chronographes x Ligier Automotive watches are distinguished by their automatic mechanism mounted on Shock Absorbers developed by the manufacture to protect the movement in all circumstances. The "racing" design case is adorned with chequered patterns with a coloured ceramic treatment, in homage to the chequered flag present in the historic logo of the Ligier brand. The dial features the traditional race numbers 4, 8 and 12
and coloured perforated hands, which form the DNA of the French watchmaking brand. These timepieces incorporate tricolour blue-white-red silent blocks, which offer both a unique design and optimal stability to preserve the precision of the movement. This attention to detail expresses a shared determination to offer a unique piece that perfectly embodies the passion for the automobile and horology that drives every driver racing in a Ligier.
