A hilly circuit carved into the heart of the Ardennes massif, SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS is renowned for its numerous corners and changes in elevation that give the impression of being on a roller coaster. An unusual, natural topography that has earned it the nickname 'Ardennes toboggan'. The emblem of this terrain is undoubtedly the sequence through Raidillon de l'Eau Rouge, an impressive steep climb that has caught out more than one driver since its appearance in 1939.
Recognised internationally for its Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix and the legendary '24 Hours of Spa' endurance race, the SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS circuit also hosts numerous other national and international races.
